THE VIRGIN MILLIONAIRES
How do you build a great rock band?
Well, we're pretty sure it's not on Reality TV or through mass cattle call auditions.
Really quite simple, actually. you start with a true love of music and a talent for writing great songs. That's Zack (Vox) - writing, performing and following his passion - After his first band, Transmatic, called it a day he found his way to Florida to meet up with his friend and fellow singer songwriter/producer, Kyle Cook, who had seen some success of his own. Zack also had a few other pals down there he knew from back home in Indy that he had met while Transmatic was doing the major label radio visit game. He hooked up with them and started the foundation for the band to come together.
Their early days and nights together were filled with alcohol infused writing and creating music - on one of those nights they were hanging at a local bar and happened to stumble upon a band whose drummer was simply amazing. After a few more drinks they approached him, handed him some rough demos, and said call if you are interested. Well Ryan happened to call the next day and came down to the studio where he not only nailed the songs immediately but instantly took them to another level with his absolutely shocking ability for someone only 22 years of age. The band was definitely coming together.
With Zack writing feverishly he knew the final piece was a live band that could carry off the songs and provided the energy he had desired for a long time. Through a few contacts Zack recruited two of his good friends to add the guitar power to the songs. One was old friend Nick Sommers and after that, through mutual friends, came guitar whiz and stage psycho, Matt Carter. The lineup was intact and definitely firing on all cylinders, thus - Virgin Millionaires was born.
Relocating back home to Indianapolis they have been writing, recording demos, and quickly solidifying their reputation as the biggest band and by far and away the best live act in town in less than 6 months.
When it comes down to it - they are just a bunch of guys who love making music, chasing some girls, drinking a few beers and doing what comes most naturally to them: Playing rock and roll. All of the chips are falling into place for the guys and they couldn't be more excited. This is a band to watch this year, their large and loyal fan base already knows it, and we predict the rest of the world will soon.
